I grew up in a big Hispanic family with even bigger personalities and a hoard of extended family that all referred to themselves as “cousins”. Early on in my life I learned the importance of having a community to lean on through any challenge and celebration. In that type of culturally large and boisterous environment, it’s easy for a lot voices to overlap, making systems and processes nonexistent. Maturing in those conditions taught me that I find immense satisfaction in making sense of that commotion. I take this character trait and apply it to everything I do; with my family, with my personal life, and with the way I approach business. Oftentimes that leaves me organizing the kitchen at random times, which my husband has lovingly learned to just let me do my thing!
