I grew up in a family of nine and my dad worked extremely hard to provide for all of us. Watching him had a big impact on me. Early on, I saw value in work ethic and character, but also how financial decisions played a major role in our success. That is probably why personal finance was my favorite subject as a high school math teacher. After 12 years of teaching, it was clear to me that God was directing me to financial services and ultimately Abound Financial. When I left my comfortable teaching position, I did it for one reason, to take the lessons I learned as a kid and help people live the kind of life they want.

Gail Engler is our Sr. Operations Associate and assists our team of CFP professionals. Gail has been with Clario Financial since 1987. She assists our clients with any service item or non-trading issues that they may have. Gail’s education includes completion of the Financial Paraplanner course and the LPL AdminU program at the Bachelor’s level. As an Enrolled Agent, Gail’s area of focus is Federal tax laws and how they impact our clients.

I believe simplifying life lets us appreciate the things that matter most. For me, this is when all aspects of my environment are in their place. As one of ten children in my family growing up, staying organized was the only way to make sense of the chaos around me. I was the kid who actually enjoyed cleaning her room! I’ve continued to improve my ability to organize the things around me and it has allowed me to appreciate my lifelong relationships and experiences to the fullest.

Aubrae Opp is the first person you see at Clario Financial when you visit our office. Aubrae has a professional background in customer service and office administration. She worked several years as a supervisor at World Market Chico before taking a position in an office for another company where she further developed her administration skills. She graduated from Humboldt State University with a B.A. in Geography and minor in Geology.

Generations of my family lived in Hawaii working tirelessly in sugar cane and pineapple fields at the Dole Plantation. I was taught from a young age to pursue excellence in your work and to be in Aloha with each person you meet. The word Aloha is generally used for saying hello and goodbye, but it also means learning to love what another person loves. God has created and designed each of us with unique gifts and talents. I enjoy seeking out things that make each person shine.
